Fanal & Levada dos Cedros

Fanal & Levada dos Cedros follows a levada through one of the most beautiful Forest in Madeira until you finally reach an incredible waterfall!

We will start to walk through one of oldest Levadas in Madeira build in the 17th century, going inside into Madeira´s indigenous Laurel Forest you will come across threes with 30 to 40 meteres high, at the the of the Levada walk we will find a wonderful waterfall. Once we reach one the highlights the waterfall we then head up trough some steps until we reach the Ancient laurel forest of Fanal a Unesco World Heritage site with the presence of a centuries old Tis.
